Meet Dr. Shah
Dr. Shah is originally from the suburbs of Chicago, IL and has been practicing Osteopathic Medicine since 2011. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and currently practices as a Hospitalist* through Cone Health in Greensboro and Reidsville, NC. He has specialized in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine through an undergraduate fellowship at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he also completed his medical education. While there, Dr. Shah worked with patients from all walks of life from newborn babies to elite athletes.
*A Hospitalist is a dedicated in-patient physician who works exclusively in a hospital.
Approach
Dr. Shah abides by the tenets of Osteopathy which respect the body’s potential to heal itself through the restoration of proper form and function. He has attended numerous post-graduate courses and has studied with a wide variety of mentors to refine his methods and approach. This allows him to deliver the most effective, efficient, and appropriate treatment plan for each individual.
He uses mostly gentle, yet powerful techniques which allow the body to unleash its healing potential so that patients can get beyond symptoms of pain and dysfunction. This generally creates impressive and longer-lasting results, thus not only allowing for fewer and less frequent treatments, but in many cases, eliminating the need for most medications and surgeries.
